The best way to determine your air filter size is to use a measuring tape, and the dimensions of your current filter are likely printed on the frame.
Choosing the Correct Filter Size:
A. Nominal Size vs. Actual Size The nominal size is a rounded shorthand number, usually in a larger font, such as 20 x 20 x 1. The actual size is an exact measurement, typically in a smaller font, that represents the filter's precise dimensions, such as 19.75 x 19.75 x 0.75. All filters have both measurements.
